Camille Hadida

Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Camille Hadida and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. My focus is to help you start living a meaningful life today.
I use a holistic approach to understanding your physical, emotional and social needs and helping you balance these in order to live meaningfully. If you want to lose weight, quit smoking, manage stress, face a phobia, improve relationships, pursue your ideal career or follow your dreams, I will support you in building the skills and developing the resources you need to succeed.
I have experience working with people of all ages struggling with pain, anxiety (social, health and generalized anxiety disorders, specific phobias, agoraphobia and panic disorders), depression, trichotillomania and other body-focused repetitive behaviours or unwanted habits and behaviours. I also help people experiencing situational anxiety in relation to specific issues, such as personal issues (poor self-esteem/self-confidence, past or current emotional or physical trauma), family/parenting issues, relationship issues, marital conflict or dissolution and school or career issues.
My background enables me to take a holistic approach to your issues and to understand how various aspects of your life require balance in order for you to live meaningfully. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. My training in hypnosis is diverse and I have had the honor of learning from experts around the world including Freddy Jacquin (author of Hypnotherapy: Methods, Techniques and Philosophies of Freddy Jacquin), Anthony Jacquin (author of Reality is Plastic!) and Mike Mandel (Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy at the University of Toronto). My background as a helper began in 1994 as a licensed Chiropractor, and I spent the next 25 years developing a holistic approach to understanding the physical, mental, social and occupational needs and challenges people face every day. I have completed certificate programs in Life Care Planning (Future Cost of Care Planning) and Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and I am a Canadian Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional and Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator.
I have 25 years of experience working with people (and their family members) who have had traumatic experiences and have faced life changing circumstances as a result of physical or emotional trauma, including auto accidents and workplace injuries, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, catastrophic loss and disfigurement and as a result I have a strong understanding of the challenges people in such circumstances face, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, isolation, lack of motivation, self-esteem issues, physical limitations and addiction. Helping people from the physical perspective has given me a deep understanding of how psychological factors can impact every aspect of a person’s quality of life.
I look forward to hearing from you.
