Esther Lithwick

My name is Esther Lithwick and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

My personal approach to therapy is to create a compassionate non-judgemental safe space to share, explore and help you process your emotions.

I have training in many different modalities offering both a clinical and spiritual approach to psychotherapy. This enables us to focus on the integration of mind, body and spirit when co-creating strategies during our sessions. I respect and value your choices regarding the direction and manner in which our therapy sessions will unfold.

My mission is to help you identify your goals and needs, while instilling a feeling of safety, trust and understanding and to foster resilience, direction and assurance in the achievement of your goals.  I will gently guide you in the exploration of your conscious and unconscious reactions that may present in the form of emotions such as anxiety, fear, anger or regret while you shift your mindset and behaviours towards your internal hopes, dreams and desires. Whether you are an individual or a couple, I am committed to helping you develop effective coping strategies and decision-making skills.

I view life’s suffering as the catalyst to greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and personal growth. I am passionate about helping you resolve emotional conflicts and navigate life’s major transitions such as marriage, parenthood, aging parents, divorce and death. If you are in need of someone to listen to your story and help support you in the unfolding of your journey, contact me today.

I look forward to meeting you!

Either my therapist or I have the ability to discontinue video or phone-based therapy if it is felt that the connection is not adequate for the situation. I understand that prior to starting video therapy I will be provided information on how to access the therapy session and I may ask questions about how to do so prior to starting the session. I have the right to discontinue or withdraw my consent for video or electronic forms of communication, by providing written notice. I understand that I have the opportunity, either before, or after the start of treatment, to ask any questions pertaining to electronic communications and video therapy.
